There will not be a complete
shut down of our program in August. On August
1st, we will go to a schedule of afternoon only workouts between
3:30 and 5:30
PM. The following will be the regular August schedule, beginning
August 4,

GWSC's own Shelby Elmore
placed 1st (9:58) for Jr. Wonen & 1st Local HB Women at this
year's 58th anual HB Pier swim and breaking a 30 year old record
to boot. Other GWSC racers included Molly Jacobs, Melissa VanEtten,
Torrey Miethke.
Great Job!!
Then, two weeks later Shelby
placed second at the Pacific Open Water Challenge where she participated
in the "Queen of the Beach", which included a 1/2 mile
open water swim, a two mile beach run and a two mile paddle board.
